A woman named Judy was browsing in Guitar Grave in Portland, Maine, and she overheard a young man who was purchasing a guitar, checking out at the register.  She heard him say he had been hoping to buy this specific guitar for quite some time and felt very lucky to have found it!

He had saved up to make the purchase but as he counted out his money he realized he was $20 short of the price for the guitar.  His excitement turned to sadness that he did not have enough money to take it home with him.  He was polite to the store owner and asked if he could leave the money with him at the store until he got the rest of the money together so the guitar would not be sold to anyone else.  The store owner agreed.

That’s when Judy offered to pay the remaining $20 so he could take his beloved guitar home.  The young man was shocked that someone would show him such a wonderful act of kindness.  He was speechless at first but did manage a great big smile for Judy.
