A couple living in Tennessee woke up in the middle of the night and realized one of their dogs had crawled into bed with them.
Julie Johnson had gotten up to got to the restroom when she noticed the dog had gotten into bed. She really didn’t think anything of it since occasionally one of their 3 dogs would sleep with them.
It wasn’t until the next morning the Julie’s husband got a look at the dog and realized she wasn’t theirs! They were worried at first that maybe someone else was in their house, but then realized that wasn’t the case. It appeared the dog had gotten lost in the neighborhood.
Since the dog did not have a collar, they took a few pictures of her and put them up on social media. In just a few hours they found her owners and also found out her name was Nala.
She had been lost for a few days and her owners think a big thunderstorm that came through the area most likely scared her and she sought shelter and found it at the Johnson’s.
Since the incident, Nala has found a second family with the Johnson’s and even comes over for playdates with them and their dogs.
