The last few years have been especially tough on servers working in restaurants. The hours have been long and they have put their health at risk. That is why I love this story.A waitress named Jessica Wilterink was working at a restaurant in western Michigan. She had already had a busy day when a large party was seated in her section. She served them and went about her busy day . Once the bill for the large party from a group called Generosity Lunch came , Jessica was in shock!
The group had left her a tip of $960!! The group is made up of friends and strangers, who meet once a month for a lunch date. Each person is asked to bring $100 in cash. Then everyone puts the money together then once the bill is paid, the rest is left as a tip for their server. It’s such a great idea!
The Generosity Lunch group was created with hopes that the idea will inspire others to spread the love!
