Chobani Donates More Than 1,000 Pumpkins to Foodbank

Back in April at a Chobani Greek yogurt factory in Twin Falls, Idaho, employees planted a garden on Earth Day that was dedicated to those in the community who are facing food insecurity.

Well, that garden ended up producing more than 1,300 pumpkins.

The employees were recently able to harvest those pumpkins — and donate them to a local food bank.

Thanks to the cooperation and hard work of the employees at the factory, those 1,300 pumpkins will lift the spirits of those in need, allowing families to eat, decorate or carve the pumpkins as Halloween approaches.

Over the summer and fall, the garden also produced hundreds of pounds of tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, peas — and other food items.

It was a great project that has impacted many people by providing nutritious food and easing their burden during these challenging times.
