A nurse in California named Vilma Wong who works at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Stanford for the last 32 years when she met Brandon Seminatore a 28 year old second year pediatric resident.

He joined her team in August and when he introduced himself to her his name sounded familiar.”I kept asking where he was from, and he told me that he was from San Jose, California, and that, as a matter of fact, he was a premature baby born at our hospital.” she said.

Dr. Wong’s curiosity grew and she then asked him if his father was a police officer.  There was a moment of silence before Brandon asked her is she was Vilma.  When she replied yes, he said his mom had asked him to look for a nurse name Vilma when he took the job at the hospital.

Vilma had taken care of Brandon 28 years ago when he was a premature baby.  She said at first she was in shock and then overjoyed to see him again.
