Kev Crane a plumber from England loves singing while he works. He has always considered it a hobby. He has his own home recording studio and had spent his extra time there during the Covid lockdown.
Kev has been doing bathroom remodels for the past eight years, so he thought nothing of taking a job for a music mogul named Paul Conneally. Paul owns his own record label and as Kev worked on his bathrooms, he did what he always does while on the job: He began to sing to the radio. Paul loved what he heard.
On a whim, Paul asked Kev to send him some of the pieces he’d written. When the plumber obliged, Paul was “blown away.” Paul immediately offered Kev a recording contract, and the plumber was more than happy to accept. While Kev said the whole experience has been surreal, he couldn’t be happier to have this opportunity.
Kev is going to see where it leads, but says if nothing comes of this career it was fun while it lasted. He was definitely in the right place at the right time.
