Supermarket Worker Steps Up To Help Veteran In Need.

Briar Poirier a supermarket worker always does his best to help others.  He believes a little kindness goes a long way.  Those who know him are now spreading the word on social media.

Briar who is autistic  has been working as a grocery store clerk at Market House in Oxford, Massachusetts, for eight years now.  He is know for the way he relates to the customers at the market.

One of those customer is Renee Falconi, an emergency room nurse who says “He asks me about my day, and makes it 100% better.”  One day while she was shopping she noticed was helping a veteran who didn’t have enough money  to pay for his groceries.

Without hesitating, Briar took out his wallet and insisted on paying for everything himself. He said that “the gentleman had a couple of basic necessities and looked like he was a little down on his luck, and the man fought for our country, fought for our freedoms, our rights and it’s the least I could do for him.”

Renee was touched by what Briar had done and shared his story on Facebook.  Because of that she learned that he had helped so many others too.  Everyone was sharing their wonderful experiences with Briar.

Briar’s generosity is a great reminder that one act of kindness can have a huge ripple effect!
