Justin, a US Army veteran was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. While he was there serving his country the truck he was traveling in hit an IED and it flipped , injuring Justin’s leg so badly he had to have it amputated.
While he was recovering from his injuries he was introduced to the Warrior Canine Connection. There he met a 2 year old golden retriever named Gabe. They hit is off immediately and Gabe and Justin became inseparable.
Gabe’s companionship helped Justin heal and when he returned home, Gabe came with him. When it was time for Justin to marry his girlfriend Carol, Gabe was by his side as his best man. Justin say’s “He goes where I go
