A woman jumped into a monkey enclosure at the El Paso, Texas Zoo, attempted to frolic in a water fountain with them, and allegedly feed them Cheetos. The woman, who worked for a law firm, was immediately fired from her job and now faces charges. The head zookeeper at the zoo calls the woman “stupid and lucky that she wasn’t hurt.” Zookeepers also feared for the monkeys’ safety, as humans can spread illnesses to them, including Covid.
