Sunday’s Full Moon Helped Free The Suez Canal Ship
The massive cargo ship blocking the Suez canal was finally freed on Monday. And it’s all thanks to – the Moon??? Yes, Sunday’s full moon actually played a part in un-sticking the Ever Given. That’s because the so-called ‘Worm Moon’ caused a high spring tide, 18 inches higher than normal. That extra water made it much easier to straighten and dislodge the ship. A full moon bringing a high tide is something that happens just a handful of times each year.
