The 92nd Academy Awards are this Sunday night. While many categories seem like a lock for the actors, there is always room for an upset. I believe the Best Picture category is where we may see that.
Out of the 9 Best Picture nominees , I believe there are 3 of movies that could win. They are “1917”, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and the South Korean movie “Parasite.” “Parasite” is also up for Best Foreign Film, a category I believe it has a lock on.
If you haven’t seen this amazing movie, the good news is it’s now available to stream on several platforms including Amazon Prime for just $5.99.
It’s my pick this week , because there is nothing else out there like it. It will shock and surprise you in so many ways. “Parasite” won Best Ensemble Cast at the SAG awards and received a standing ovation. It really is a special film and one I believe you may want to watch more than once. There are sub-titles but they really did not take anything away from this wonderful film!

While “Parasite” isn’t for the kids, Disney+ has just released “Toy Story 4” and the new version of “The Lion King.” Both were huge this summer! If I had to choose, I would pick “Toy Story 4” as the one to watch with the family this weekend! – Terri
