6th grader Lilly Cowart is amazing! When she found out students in her home town of Spokane Washington could not afford their school lunches , she decided to do something to help.
She got together with her dad who works at an auto dealership, and they came up with a plan to put part of the proceeds of their car sales together to help. They ended up raising $10,000 to put toward the school lunch bill! With that wonderful donation from Lilly and her dad, 1000 kids will have a hot school lunch for a year!
