Fall means cool crisp weather, Husker football , beautiful fall leaves and unfortunately the flu!! The CDC (Center for Disease Control) says you should get your flu shot by the end of October. I never miss getting my flu shot and because of that I have never gotten the flu, not once. It really is your best protection against this terrible disease!
Also when you get your flu shot at your local Hy-Vee you save 20 cents per gallon on your Fuel Saver Plus Perks Card!! You don’t need an appointment or prescription either! As you can see by the picture above it’s easy, I did not even feel it. Hy-Vee’s pharmacists are the best and as you can see are so friendly and can answer any questions you may have about the flu shot or any other health concerns you have!
I always get my flu shot on or around my birthday which is in October! It’s a great reminder to do it every year! Speaking of my birthday, this year a sweet friend of mine sent me the most gorgeous flower arrangement!
Of course it was from Hy-Vee! They have the most gorgeous flowers and they are still sitting on my desk looking fresh and lovely! If you have a birthday, or another special occasion coming up, Hy-Vee is the place to go to pick up or send flowers to your special someone!
