Starting in TV and movies at a young age and Leo became a huge star playing Jack in Titanic.  Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet helped pay the nursing home fees for the last Titanic survivor, so she wouldn’t have to sell anymore Titanic mementos to raise cash. Leonardo DiCaprio is an ardent environmentalist. He founded the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to support sustainability efforts, is a board member of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Global Green USA.  He is in the new Quentin Tarentino film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with Brad Pitt and Margo Robbie, opening today.

His mother named him Leonardo because she was at a museum looking at a DaVinci painting when she first felt him kick.

He spent his childhood in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese.

Leonardo was the first choice to play the role of young Max Dennison in the horror comedy “Hocus Pocus.”

Leonardo DiCaprio is the only actor in Hollywood that, no matter “how bad the film is”, do well at the box office.
