Barsik the cat weighs 41 pounds…the heaviest of any cat ever surrendered to this NYC Animal Shelter.  His owners dropped him off at the shelter this weekend, saying they were leaving town.  Now Barsik will find new owners who are committed to helping him shed the pounds!  -Cheryl Kaye
