Flamingos – 1/17/19

The “Can you eat a flamingo” search has gone viral on Google.  You can eat a flamingo by the way , but they are not very good for you or all that tasty.They are pink for the most part and that is do to their diet of shrimp and other seafood.

 

Flamingos stand on one leg in the water because it reduces the amount of body hear lost in cold water.

A group of flamingos is called a “flow.”

The feathers under a flamingos wings (flight feathers) are black.

There are more plastic flamingos in the United States then live ones.
