Greatest band of all time?
That’s tough. I would probably go with the Beatles for the amount and quality of work they put out in 10 years and the fact that they influenced everyone. You hear them everywhere in today’s music. Musically and lyrically they are hard to beat.

I hear you’re in a band – tell me about that.
I sing for a band called Finest Hour. It’s a cast of characters and talented musicians, including my oldest brother, Greg. We play a really cool selection of covers and put our own spin on a lot of songs. We have a full horn section and frequently have guest appearances from other musicians. We do this for fun and because we all love music. I think that really comes through when you see us. I mean – it’s a cover band, we all have jobs and many of us have kids. We are all music geeks and have a blast together. You can find photos, videos and dates here:  finesthourband.com

How big is your family? Pets? Kids?
I am very blessed to have a big family. I have wonderful parents, 4 older brothers who are all great and married to fantastic women. I also have 17 nieces and nephews, all of whom I absolutely adore. So yeah, it’s a pretty big gathering when we get together. It’s loud and crazy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I got married in October of 2004 and acquired another great family with my in-laws. My husband and I have two boys, August & Griffin, who are sweet and hilarious and so different from each other it blows my mind. No pets.

Leno or Letterman?
Neither. Jimmy Fallon. He is the best in that league hands down.

What’s on your Ipod?
My Ipod would probably freak most people out. Let me think of a few here…Sheryl Crow, Peter Gabriel, Aretha Franklin, Branford Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Patty Griffin, Adele, Beatles, Mary J Blige, Stones, Kanye West, Jack Johnson, U2, Duffy, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Debussy, Ray Lamontagne, David Gray, Stevie Wonder, Dave Brubeck, Bruce Springsteen, Eva Cassidy, Michael Jackson, Bonnie Raitt, Foo Fighters and Lady Gaga. There are many, many more – those are just off the top of my head.

Best Dance Song?
Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough – Jacksons – will get people on the dance floor every time.

Best Break-up Song?
Last Goodbye – Jeff Buckley

Best Sing- along-in-your-car Song?
This is a tough call because it really depends on your mood. So – I will confess the last songs I remember belting out in my own car concert. Baby, I Love You by Aretha, It Hurt So Bad by Susan Tedeschi and The Difficult Kind by Sheryl Crow. For a ballad - Eva Cassidy’s version of Fields of Gold. It will make you sick to your stomach it’s so good. I am not good at these music questions unless you want 15 answers.

Favorite cocktail?
My favorite cocktail is a Mojito. Those are pretty seasonal. So, most of the time, it’s red wine for me.
