Star 104.5 teamed up with Goodwill at Yonkers located at the Westroads Mall taking donations for the people who need our help this holiday season. Rikki from the Star Morning Show broadcasted LIVE on location and handed out some great prizes! Star 104.5 and The Salvation Army worked hard together to adopt families around the Omaha Metro area. They hosted an all day radiothon on Thursday November 30th and Friday December 1st. They contributed to 2,400 families receiving the gift of adoption and will now be provided with a Christmas, by their adopting families. Volunteers from different Omaha companies came in and helped out with the cause by answering phone calls, including HP, CareerLink, First Data.

Black Friday brought Kurt from Star104.5 out to the Papillion location Anytime Fitness off of 96th and Highway 370, he was trying to work off all the Thanksgiving dinner he had the day before. He was joined by staff from Anytime Fitness and Complete Nutrition. They gave away great deals on memberships and Omaha Lancers tickets, as well as getting back in shape after big Thanksgiving dinners.

Chris & Ricky from Star 104.5's morning show, were out at The Holiday Lights Festival on Thanksgiving night, lighting up the town with beautiful Holiday lights. They were joined by thousands of patrons as well as Mayor Jim Suttle! Who flipped the switch along with some children, and everyone joined in lighting their commemorative LED candle votives. At the conclusion of the evening, the city of Omaha was aglow and flowing with Holiday Spirit.

The night before Thanksgiving, Chris and Ricky from Star 104.5 mornings were our at Shadow Lake Towne Shopping Center to welcome in Santa, and light the tree with all of Santa's helpers. They gave out prizes rang bells, and watched a parade of characters go by. As the time drew near and the night sky became darker they lit the 40 year-old Blue Spruce Christmas Tree and brightened the dark night sky.
