Omaha Summer Arts Festival

The Omaha Summer Arts Festival is for all ages that appreciate art or simply enjoy having a good time. The Festival will fill downtown streets with art, music, children's activities, food and more along the Gene Leahy Mall from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. In addition to an Artists' Market, the Festival features art demonstrations, live music, great food and a Children's Fair. General Festival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Artists' Market - Visitors can purchase works in numerous mediums including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, fiber, glass, wood and metal, and photography as they browse the Festival. Omaha ArtSeen - Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with local artists and watch live artist demonstrations at Omaha's ArtSeen sponsored by RDG Planning & Design and Burlington Capitol. Live Music - Visitors of all ages can enjoy world-class music in a fun and relaxed atmosphere as a variety of performers take the Luigi Waites Main Stage in the CenturyLink World Music Pavilion. Food and Drink - In addition to a full weekend of entertainment, visitors can purchase beer, wine and other ice-cold beverages at the CenturyLink World Music Pavilion. TasteFest and festival cafes will feature a variety of local vendors offering a wide range of selections. Children's Fair - The Children's Fair is setting up at 11th and Farnam on Saturday and Sunday and opening at 11 a.m. both days, the Children's Fair will offer dozens of hands-on activities and art projects for ages 3 to 10.
