Shannon Lynn Miller Benefit
Shannon Lynn Miller was one of the three victims that were involved in the hit-and-run on June 24th. The family is holding a Benefit to help raise money for Shannon to keep her house in Arlington, NE and also to help her provide for her two small children both with special needs. Jordan, her oldest who is 10, has type 1 diabetes and her daughter Alyvia, who is 4, has a rare chromosonal defect called Kabuki syndrome.
Shannon suffered many injuries such as; multiple fractures in her jaw, the loss of several teeth on the left side of her jaw, a fractured vertebrae in her back, her left knee ligaments are completely blown out and road rash that covers most of her body. She had her mouth wired shut for 3 weeks and is still in skilled rehab.
There is a WIDE variety of items we are raffling off from tattoo credit to one night hotel stay in a jacuzzi room! Casino Cab has donated an hour of their time from 9-10pm for free cab rides home! The benefit is this Saturday the 28th at Badonkaronks in Council Bluffs from 3-9pm.
Adults are $5 and children are $3, admission will get you a food ticket and one free raffle ticket. Airbrush tattoos provided by Hines Glow Airbrush Tattoos. Food being served includes: sloppy joes, chips, pasta salad and several other side dishes along with several deserts. The family really appreciates all of the support of the community and local businesses for their donations.
