 Seeking Quilts and Quilters

The Bluffs Arts Council is partnering with the Iowa Arts Council and several local quilters to present Quilting: The Tradition Continues, a program about quilting customs, patterns and methods, on Sunday, June 10th at the Center, 714 S. Main Street in Council Bluffs.  In addition to the program, a quilt show will be on exhibit the day of the program and during the month of June.  Viewing the quilt exhibit will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the program starting at 1:30 p.m.  The presentation is free and open to the public.

The BAC is looking for folks to loan their quilts to be on display for either the day of the event or for the entire month.  They are asking that a maximum of two quilts be brought to the Center each evening from Monday, June 4th through Thursday, June 7th, between 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  Quilt lenders will be asked to provide general information about their quilts.

For more information, please contact the Bluffs Arts Council office at 712-328-4992 or
