The Omaha / Council Bluffs Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will hold its annual WALK to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Elmwood Park in Omaha.  This event draws over 4,500 walkers and raises funds that support research to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, a chronic disease that affects children and adults alike.
