Methodist Offers Targeted, Unique Help in our Community

  • Print

This month we’re talking about something that can be kind of embarrassing for women to talk about, even though as many as one in five women suffer from chronic pelvic pain. It’s a very real condition and now there is some very real, unique help from Methodist Physicians Clinic. Methodist continues to lead the way in identifying the needs of women in our community and then building a program to meet that need.

The latest program from Methodist is a therapeutic support series coming up on October 12th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the medical building adjacent to Methodist Women’s Hospital. At this special support series you’ll learn about treatment options for chronic pelvic pain, have a safe place to share your story and get support from others and learn relaxation techniques.

This is a unique, 4 part series brought to you by Methodist. To register go to or call 402-815-1770.  Plus, click on the interview tab of this page to hear our interview with Brier Jirka, a Certified Professional Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Sex Therapist at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
